Independent Director

Mr Parente has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Webuild since April 2018.

He graduated in Economics and Commerce from Rome's "La Sapienza" University, with a thesis focused on credit and monetary economics. He subsequently began his professional career at the Bank of Italy.

From 1987 to 2010, he worked in the credit and financial supervision department, in its headquarters in Milan. In 2007, he reached the Head of the Supervisory and Exchange Division of the four supervisory headquarter units.

Following his experience at the Bank of Italy, he began his consultancy activity, and in 2014 he founded Parente & Partners S.r.l., a company active in the banking and financial sectors.

He is currently a professional accountant and auditor, as well as an independent director of Hyle Capital Partners SGR S.p.A, and Chairman of the 231 Supervisory Body of American Express companies.

For ten years, he was the independent Director of Banca Sella. He taught in universities, first at Milan’s Catholic University (Università Cattolica), and later at the Università Carlo Cattaneo – LIUC, where he teaches “Banking regulations and compliance.”
